El Tarascon in Bonn

We love the El Tarascon. Down to earth, super nice staff, super delicious meat. Side dishes top! We look forward to being able to come back to the lunch menu on Sundays 😌

Highest quality food

The best steak far and wide. I don't know any better and it is always a pleasure. Quality has its price, of course, but it's worth it. Tip: reserve in good time! Unfortunately, it often doesn't work in the short term. But it's also nicer to look forward to a feast for a few days.

The daily fixed menu is very good value, delicious and convenient for lunch.

Really very tasty and top meat, grilled to the point. We had 300g ribeye and vegetables + fries. If Corona allows we will go there again. Service was also very attentive.

The food was good, the service only moderate. Several parts of our order were forgotten. We had to ask several times and run after our order. Unfortunately there was no reaction from the restaurant. A little reparation would have been in order ...

Best steak house he has ever been to according to my husband. I personally recommend the baked potato with herb butter in particular. Lunch offers are also great, both in terms of selection, price and quantity.

Here I would like to give 6 stars. Those who love meat have to go here. Best quality steaks. Also for "big boys" up to 500g. Grilled on charcoal. Really sensational!

I've been coming here for many years. Gentlemen's evening - where we eat the best steaks. Then as now, the quality is absolutely outstanding! The staff are well organized and so I can absolutely recommend the Tarascon

Qualitatively the best restaurant for eating meat in Bonn. This of course has its price. But I mean, you can take good money for good quality. I have never eaten better meat than at El Tarascon. I will eat there more regularly in the future!

The actual food was fantastic, but the service was so poor it ruined the meal. I was served with a steak that was undercooked (ordered medium, recieved medium rare) and after asking the kitchen to correct the issue, the waitress came back to the table and claimed that because I spoke english, the medium I ordered was dofferent from a “German medium” even though my German partner originally ordered the steak for me. I do not reccomend this restaurant to those traveling to Germany for the first time and still learning the language. It is ashame my meal ended with me in tears.

The meat was terrific and does what it says on the tin. Service also very attentive. We had an evening that you couldn't ask for better.

El Tarascon is the best restaurant far and wide !! Especially the steaks, of course, the lomos are simply amazing! It couldn't be better !! In addition the great staff, now also the terrace, wonderful. We have been coming for over 20 years. The quality has never changed! Delicious. The atmosphere is good. I am satisfied for the price. There is a lunch menu. It wasn't racist, but I felt that the employees were burdened with Asians. Because, for sure, when dealing with Westerners and Asians were different. (I don't know if it's racist, but it could be because I visited it alone, but he guided me to the corner seat.) But all the service except the attitude was satisfactory.

We sent a request for a reservation by email and received confirmation of a table for 8:15 p.m., which we in turn confirmed. After we had to wait a few minutes and stood in the entrance area for 15 minutes, when we asked, we were informed very unfriendly that no online reservations were accepted and that we would then have to wait. Unfortunately, we did not experience good organization or hospitality here.

I had an email reservation for 8:15 pm. We were taken to the counter area to be assigned the seat. Unfortunately, after waiting over a quarter of an hour, no space was offered in the extremely narrow stairwell (no clearances had to be maintained). When asked what about the reserved space, it was said in an outrageous tone that I was unlucky because I reserved online. I would not have expected such a terrible service from a restaurant in this price range.

The starter and main course were really, really tasty. Great steaks! The best fried onions I've ever had. Dessert was not my cup of tea ... The ambience is nice, but it doesn't knock you off your feet either. The service is good; What is irritating, however, is that we were served by 4 different people. High prices, which is okay with the quality, but in the price range I would have expected, for example, that there would be free bread including dips (or similar) in advance and that this would not have to be ordered and paid for! In addition, the dishes could be arranged nicer / more interesting. So all in all really good, but unfortunately it's not enough for 5 stars.

Cozy restaurant. It was very well attended, but we found a place straight away. But then it took a long time before we could place our order. However, it was definitely worth waiting for the food. Everything tasted very good and the meat was perfectly fried and very tender.

The place is a bit worn and outdated. That's why there's a point deduction. The staff is super nice and the food was delicious. There is an atmosphere in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there are very few parking spaces in the area.

We were in this restaurant on July 11th, 2020 with 4 people and had all ordered the same menu. First of all: You can now sit outside. So now I come to the waitress. Very friendly and helpful and attentive. Now for eating. The menu for € 24.90 per person was not only good, the steak was mega. All in all, for 30 euros you have a great meal with a drink.

Amazing steaks, the best I had in Bonn! From our table we were able to see the steaks being grilled infront of us. Although it is in the basement but the nice decor and friendly staff make up for it. There are set menus which are a good value.

Outstanding meal!! This may be the best steak I've had in Germany.

Here is a real steak restaurant that is really fragrant. And it's a really good steak house with a pretty good price. The restaurant where the boss keeps turning around the table is really delicious. If you come to Bonn, it is a compulsory course. It's a line of houses, so be sure to make a reservation.

It is the best place for meat eaters. Possibly one of the best place in Bonn. I’ve been twice in Bonn in mission and we managed to go there 3 times. Excellent steak, portions are very generous, service is very professional and friendly at the same time. Very warm welcome. If you happened to be in Bonn, reserve in advance and go! You will enjoy it and will definitely get back again.

Excellent service with friendly, attentive and polite staff. Lovely ambience The of the meal was delicious. However, the bread served was disappointing, but the chimichurri was super. The empanadas were very well done. We ordered the rump steak, a sirloin and a rib-eye and the steaks were all delicious. The spinach was lovely and different fries were full of flavour and tasty. El Tarascon is highly recommended and we will return. Thank you for a wonderful meal, my children and I enjoyed ourselves.

Possibly the best Steak I have ever eaten!👍 A Cosy Placy where you want to stay for a while. Extremely friendly Staff! Overall a great experience and if I will ever be back in Bonn I surely will be back!

Always order the steak rare if you want it medium rare. Always great lunch menus.
